Now all we need is a night-shift Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team! Overview of the position
Quality Assurance Inspectors are responsible for inspecting product to ensure it is in accordance with NRL and customer policies.
Benefits and Compensation:
- $18 – $30.00+ an hour. Starting wage depends on experience and education.
- Three health insurance options are available, as well as dental, vision, short-term disability, life, accident and other ancillary benefits available after 60 days full-time.
- Long-term disability and a $75,000 life insurance policy given to all full-time employees at no cost to them after 60 days.
- $400 HRA deductible credit given towards anyone who enrolls in a health insurance plan.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) is an accrual based program for all employees. A range of 40 – 128 hours will be annually accrued depending on length of service. PTO will be used for any reason work is missed, but it is not a use it or lose it policy. All PTO will carry over into the new year.
- 401(k) plan with match is available after six months of employment. Pre- and post-tax contribution options, and many funding options are available.
- Overtime is typically available, but never guaranteed.
Primary duties of the position
- Inspect and analyze product to ensure it is in accordance with customer specifications, quality requirements, and NRL policy and procedures
- Operate and monitor the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect product
- Record accurate data and keep records of findings
- Implement corrective actions, if needed
- Recommend changes in production methods to improve the quality of product
- Programming parts for the CMM using PC-DMIS, if possible

Education and experience requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role is preferred
