The Beginning of NRL & Associates, Inc.
NRL & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a small precision machine shop with just nine machines packed into a 1,300 sq. ft. facility in Maryland. From the start, the company focused on delivering high-quality, tight-tolerance machined components to demanding industries.
Growth and Expansion
1996: To support rapid growth, NRL moved into a 28,000 sq. ft. facility, expanding capacity and capabilities.
2015: NRL transitioned into its current 55,000 sq. ft., climate-controlled facility, now equipped with 40+ CNC machines across multiple departments, including CNC milling, turning, advanced 5-axis machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly.
Through steady reinvestment in people, technology, and infrastructure, NRL has evolved from a small shop into a trusted partner for top defense, aerospace, medical, and maritime contractors.

NRL & Associates has remained privately owned and operated since its founding.
